Atty. Guerrero served as legal counsel during contract negotations for several of the country's largest corporations and banks. He has also represented numerous foreign clients engaged in power generation, tourism, information technology, and other industries. Born on 12 June 1966 in Quezon City, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila University in 1993. He was admitted as a member of the Philippine Bar after taking the bar examinations given that same year.

As a law student, he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Ateneo Law Journal and was also a consistent Dean's lister. He likewise holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of the Philippines (Diliman). Prior to being a founding partner at APP, he was a partner at the Ponce Enrile Cayetano Bautista Reyes & Manalastas Law Offices (PECABAR) where he started as an associate. As a young lawyer, he was a member of PECABAR's litigation department for many years. Thereafter, he joined its Tax and Special Projects Department which became his primary practice. He has an in-depth knowledge of, and exposure to, a broad spectrum of corporate transactions.

Aside from his corporate exposure, he also has extensive experience in the field of Intellectual Property Law, having been a member of the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines (IPAP). He has also served as legal counsel in commercial litigations involving the cancellation of trademarks, enforcement of intellectual property rights, opposition to the registration of trademarks.

His practice areas include Intellectual Property Law Tax Law Corporate Law, which includes, among others, power and energy, property development, loan and financing transactions, securities registration, mergers and acquisition, trusts and banking.
